Freelance at Goodwood Festival of Speed
I had the opportunity to freelance at Goodwood Festival of Speed. This was a brilliant opportunity for me to work at a live event. I was tasked with capturing interesting and interactive content for the three different Instagram accounts (Goodwood Road and Racing, Goodwood FOS and Goodwood Revival). I needed to make sure all these were slightly different to suit the audience and style of account. On one of the days, I was also asked to help with caption writing for videos to be published across the accounts. This was a different experience as it was creating captions for a wide variety of video content and again trying to make them all sound different depending on which account they were going to be posted on.
25 July - Present
I am currently working full-time at Goodwood Motorsport Circuit as a Social Media Executive. I work within a team to create content across three different accounts. I've learned how to change the tone of captions to fit the target audience for the other accounts. I also get to create graphics for fans to engage with to create a conversation and for users to reply to fans of the accounts. Within my role, I have also been able to work on all the company's events and event the team get invited to (Retromobile) and post across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I also have developed the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival TikTok account and growing the followers on that account.
Articles
Recently I have been given the opportunity to write articles for the Goodwood Road and Racing website. This has been an opportunity I have been very grateful for. I got to speak with Formula E driver Nick Cassidy about his lead in the championship, win at Monaco and leading into the season's final rounds, then writing up this piece for my first piece for the website.  I also had the opportunity to visit the McLaren Technology Center in Woking to attend the McLren Car and Coffee Club. Here I interview employees at McLaren Auto and discussed their love for the cars they own and why they are special to them. This was something I hadn't experienced before, being able to interview someone in person.
The employees at McLaren Automotive are passionate about their vehicles – from the cars they design and build, to the cars and bikes that they own. To celebrate a culture of car passion within the company, the company put on McLaren Car and Coffee Club, an event for their employees to be able to show off their personal pride and joy and share their passion with one another.

The Formula E World Championship wrapped up round nine of the 2023 season in Monaco. Atop the table was Nick Cassidy, who now leads the driver's standings heading into the next double-header in Jakarta, Indonesia on 3rd and 4th June.
